Old Street Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic

Our Old Street Physiotherapy and Sports Injury clinic is located between Old Street and Moorgate tube stations. Based inside Fight City Gym, our facility offers a training atmosphere like no other. As well as central facilities like Old Street, Capital Physio also offers clinics in many other London locations.

The Old Street Physio clinic opened in early 2015 and has since become one of our most popular clinics. Most notably, the clinic has built a high reputation for successfully treating and rehabilitating sports injuries. In particular, we have had some great success in treating injuries linked to combat sports. Our success in this field is as a result of our skilled team and great combat specific rehab environment, however, our experienced Old Street Physiotherapy team possess the knowledge to treat a wide range of conditions and sports injuries at this clinic too.

Treatment for Members and non-members of Fight City

Clients attending our Old Street clinic receive ‘hands-on’ treatment in our purpose built treatment room. Rehabilitation then takes place on the gym floor. Both members and non-members of the gym can be treated here.

Clients attending here can choose to self-fund or use private health insurance. We can also provide copy invoices for cash plan providers or employers looking to reimburse costs.

I visited Ryan Steer at Capital physio with pain and weakness in my right arm. Ryan did a thorough investigation and identified the problem. This wasn't easy as it wasn't something obvious. After talking to me about my lifestyle we came up with some goals that I could work towards to resolve my problem.
Treatment started with some deep massage which really helped. This was followed by advice on deportment. By the 3rd visit this had helped substantially and my pain was almost gone. Next Ryan gave me some exercises to do with rubber bands to build back up my strength. Although these were tough and did take a little time each day it was well worth it as I very quickly saw some improvement.
By my 4th visit I was pretty much back to full strength and can continue improving on my own.
I can recommend Ryan as someone who takes a no nonsense approach to getting you back to full fitness and I will definitely go to him in the future if I get similar problems.

I went to see Ryan Steer with a painful shoulder a few weeks ago. He was able to elevate the immediate pain through massage. He is really knowledgeable and spends the time to ensure that he has all the information he needs from you as a patient which is really reassuring. You know he really wants to fix you and he quickly diagnosed the root of my shoulder problem.

He has since developed me an exercise routine to do just that. He made this routine clear and simple to follow. Throughout the treatment he has been brilliant, patient and has put me at ease. I couldn't recommend Ryan highly enough

Ryan Steer at Capital Physio is a fantastic physiotherapist. I saw him for an ankle injury, but rather than simply treating the injury he made sure he understood the context of what had caused the injury and also what sport I wanted to build myself back up for. This allowed us to develop a plan that not only healed the ankle but built my core strength to support an overall improvement in my running. Very personable, friendly but firm, and very knowledgable: exactly what you need from a physio.
