We are pleased to announce that Capital Physio has acquired North Lincolnshire based Physiotherapy group, McBride Physiotherapy.
This move marks an exciting time for Capital Physio and represents our first expansion into the East Midlands. We will be joined by an experienced team of physiotherapists and treatment will be available from four additional locations – Scunthorpe, Brigg, Central Doncaster, and Barton-upon-Humber. We are also pleased to have been awarded the prestigious Any Qualified Provider (AQP) status, meaning North Lincolnshire based NHS patients will continue to be seen at the clinics.
McBride Physiotherapy has built a reputation as the leading physiotherapy provider in the area since opening in 2006. Speaking of the move, the companies co-founder, Helen McBride, said:
“It was vital that we were succeeded by a company that shared our clinical ethics and values. I’m proud to say that Capital Physio is just that. It’s a rare example of a physio practice with a genuine focus on patients and we have every confidence they will keep up the high level of service we have striven for over the last ten years.”
Joshua Catlett, Chief Executive at Capital Physio, said:
“McBride Physiotherapy have set an incredibly high bar for a long time now and we’re very proud they have chosen to pass the responsibility onto us. We are honoured to be retaining such a high calibre team and we look forward to providing exceptional care to their patients, with the additional resources we are able to offer.”
McBride Physiotherapy clinics in Brigg and Scunthorpe come under the Capital Physio umbrella on 1st February 2017 and will sit alongside two further new practices in Doncaster city centre and Barton-upon-Humber. McBride Physiotherapy’s Epworth branch will be closing on 31st January 2017 and all patients will be offered appointments with the same physiotherapist at an alternate location, until we have new premises in Epworth.
