One of our Physiotherapists, Oisin, is taking part in the London Ride 100 in an effort to raise £800 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
The route is the pro cycling route from the 2012 Olympic Games and there will be 70,000 people participating.
We asked Oisin what his motivation was for doing the event and this is what he said:
“I’m doing this for two reasons. My cousin was born in GOSCH with a large tumour. She is with us today because of the hard work and dedication of the doctors, physios, nurses and all staff at the hospital. It is for them and my cousin I do this and I’ll be hoping to do it in 6.5 hours………fully kitted as SUPERMAN.”
If you would like to make a donation and support Oisin, it would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be done online at www.justgiving.com/Oisin-o-reilly
