Capital Physio has undergone rigorous review to be selected as a ‘Qualified Provider’ of the Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service (MCATS), formerly the Orthopaedic Triage Service, for the North Lincolnshire CCG area.
In order to be referred to MCATS you must be registered with a North Lincolnshire GP who will first assess your presentation to see if you fit the inclusion criteria. Thus, you can be assured of an established service provided by clinicians with years of experience working in this field.
Our NHS Physiotherapy Clinics
Our clinics in Brigg, and Scunthorpe are located specifically to best serve the entire North Lincolnshire area. With patient experience at the forefront, all clinics offer convenient parking, public transport links and large well equipped clinic rooms with disability access.
Our clinic appointments are available throughout the week, so you can be assured that you will have a broad range of appointment times and days to choose from whether you want to be seen in Brigg or Scunthorpe.
How do our NHS Physiotherapy services work?
When you attend Capital Physio for your MCATS initial assessment you will always be seen by a senior therapist with advanced musculoskeletal skills and experience, who will be able to assess your condition competently in order to decide the next step – that could be investigations such as an x-ray or MRI, treatment such as physiotherapy or a steroid injection, or onward referral to Pain Management or to see an Orthopaedic Consultant.
If the therapist decides you would benefit from physiotherapy treatment, you will attend for your treatment with Capital Physio.
If you wish to ask any questions about MCATS assessments or physiotherapy treatments under the NHS, do not hesitate to contact us and our friendly experienced administrative staff will be happy to help you.
