Matt is a Sport and Remedial Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist who studied at the London School of Sports Massage where he gained a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapy. He is also a registered Soft Tissue Therapist with the ISRM (The Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists). In addition to a variety of massage techniques he also uses postural assessment, neuromuscular techniques, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, positional release, myofascial techniques and joint articulation to offer the most effective treatment possible to each individual. His aim is to work with anyone that comes to see him, to treat not just the symptoms but also the cause.
Matt first became interested in the benefits of massage whilst being treated for injuries himself as a rugby and American Football player. Having seen first hand the benefits it offered he decided that this was an area he wanted to learn more about and so embarked on his journey to becoming a massage therapist. He now treats a variety of people from all walks of life including competitive athletes and weekend warriors to those who are having problems as a result of their work or lifestyle such as being stuck at a desk all day. Soft tissue therapy can also offer great benefits to dancers, performers and musicians.
When not treating people or contesting a game of rugby Matt also enjoys playing music with his band and recently completed his first marathon.
